SMS Notification Consent — How Compfluence Users Opt In
Compfluence is the sender of SMS notifications described on this page. Compfluence is a B2B incentive compensation management platform sold to franchised automotive dealerships. The recipients of SMS messages are employees of those dealerships — salespeople, sales managers, and other staff — who are added to the platform by a dealership administrator. This page documents the in-application opt-in flow for the benefit of messaging compliance reviewers.
How Users Consent to Receive SMS Notifications
- Admin sends an invite. A dealership administrator adds a team member to Compfluence and the system sends an email invitation to that employee’s work email address.
- User logs in. The invited employee follows the link in the email and creates or logs in to their Compfluence account.
- User is presented with the SMS consent screen. During onboarding, the user is shown a dedicated consent screen that explains what types of messages Compfluence will send (commission updates, goal alerts, pay period notifications) and displays the full opt-in disclosure.
- User actively opts in by clicking “Yes, send me SMS.” Consent is explicit and affirmative. The user must click the opt-in button to enroll. No SMS messages are sent until this action is completed.
